Is paying someone to fix your credit worth it?
Is paying someone to help fix your credit worth it? Will you be using your credit to get a house, car, insurance, credit cards, job or promotion? How much can this help you achieve your goals or how much money can you save in interest? This is the value to you. It is your time or your money, your choice. It can take a lot of time to learn the regulations and standards to proprly audit your reports. And then more time to thoroughly audit the reports identify the errors and write compliant communications to the credit reporting agencies and furnishers. A properly set up file often results in violations that will net you money in settlements. These settlements can often be worth more than any money invested to set up your disputes and communications. This can be way better than free.
There are never any up front fees for credit repair. This is illegal. With Consumer Credit Auditors you can also have a free in depth credit report analysis before you decide anything.
Before you decide to have any company clean up your credit report it is wise to make sure they are legal and legitimate.. Are they licensed? Bonded? Do they abide by all the rules and regulations that apply to credit service organizations and Federally and in your state? Check your state laws and registries to make sure.
One of the most onerous rules in the industry is the Telephone Sales Rule (TSR). This set some draconian standards that regulate using the telephone to acquire customers. If a credit service organization sells to you on the phone they may not charge you anything until six months after all services are finished. This is not a workable business model. If a company does try to do this and charge you illegally, you should question their ethics.
That being said, there are ways to communicate that are in full compliance with the laws and regulations. The first and most popular way is to supply us with access to your credit report. We can then do a complete analysis of the credit report and deliver it to you. This will educate you as to what is on your report and what is possible to do by auditing the information on the report to deal with collections and for other corrections or deletions. We will also have the opportunity to advise you on your options to rapidly build positive credit if that will be beneficial to your situation. Any additional questions can be answered by email or text. There is no charge for this service with Consumer Credit Auditors.
The other good option that is available if you feel you have to talk with someone first is to complete a contract. Then we can legally talk. Federal law mandates that you have a 72-hour right of recision after entering a contract. That is three business days. This allows an opportunity to have a phone discussion, review your report, and answer all your questions before the contract is bound. You may cancel if you decide you do not need the service.
There is no money collected up front. You do not pay anything to CCA until after the rescission period expires and you decide to move forward.
Our prices are here if you are ready to have us go to work for you.
